The family is the building block of society and a strong family foundation requires a commitment to faith, communication, and mutual respect. These elements are essential for creating a loving and supportive environment. Open and honest communication is key to resolving conflicts and fostering understanding within the family. Creating a safe space for dialogue is crucial for healthy relationships. Prioritizing quality time together is essential for strengthening family bonds. Shared experiences, activities, and traditions can create lasting memories and strengthen connections. Faith plays a vital role in providing guidance and support for families. Shared values and beliefs can create a sense of unity and purpose.

We must begin to learn and unlearn some of the ways we communicate. Being open yet charitable is very important as women. We must learn to say what we to say and how we feel but most importantly, we must learn how best to say it. Proverbs 15:1 tells us a soft answer turns away wrath. How soft are we? This is our call. It can be challenging especially when we are angry, when we feel we are not being listened to or ignored. Sometimes we have to pause, say a prayer or delay what we want to say. The Holy Spirit will direct us when we desire to say and do it right.

Again, we cannot resort to silence when we know there are things that need to be discussed. It makes matters more difficult and challenging. Ask yourself how best you can make communication bettter in your family. How can you make God the centre of your family? And how important do you treat respect as a family?

It is my wish that we will desire to build better  foundations for our families and as we desire and pray for that, God will bless our efforts.
